Simulation Observation Questionnaire
SET-UP
In
auditorium or other large
space. Place geographic labels
around the room in appropriate
locations. Students with posters
and ship captain take places
in original locations.
LESSON
1. Simulation:
- Review "Triangle
of Trade" from previous
lesson
- Read paragraph (3rd read)
Act out 1st triangle (Students
involved stand up, all others
remain seated. Student moves
with commodity poster.)
Act out 2nd triangle
2. Discussion:
- Observers comments
- Questions:
Who was responsible for
the slave trade?
Who profited? Who lost?
Why did people let this
go on?
Review vocabulary.
3. Write:
